FALLING from my head into your library…

Wow! Over 22,000 copies of Falling were downloaded during the free promotion last week.  This far exceeded my expectations!  An additional surprise was the immediate rise in Winter Solstice sales.  I couldn’t help but think, “If they’re buying Winter Solstice now, that must mean that they’ve already finished Falling – and liked it enough to get the next book.  Right?”

Copies of Falling and Winter Solstice continue to rise.  This, in turn, helps it rise in the rankings.  At one point, during the free promotion, Falling was ranked #3 on the Free Contemporary Fiction Kindle Book list and #19 on the Free 100 Kindle  list!  Amazing!

When is Wintering coming out?

Well, I’m currently working on the edits and the book cover for it.  I think I’ve finally settled on the cover art.   So, it’s definitely in progress and the goal is to get it out in July.  I hope you can wait that long!

Liz’s adventures continue…

While I’m working on getting Wintering out, I’m currently writing Book 4 (along with teaching, writing curriculum, and mentoring students).    The spring is a very crazy busy time for me with science fair (regional, state and International).  I call it “science fair season”.  Officially, as of last Friday, it’s over – and been very successful.  One thing to cross off my list.  Which means… more time to write!

If you liked Falling and Winter Solstice go and like the Facebook page (see the link on the right hand side).  You’ll be able to find out the latest on what’s going on with Book 3 and other news.

Thanks for reading!  Tell a friend — better yet, tell 10 friends!

Shirley, I’ve just finished reading your ‘bits and pieces’ series and I was blown away! Great job! I love to read, but it takes a good book to pull me in and a better book to make me emotionally attached. Your books did both! July seems so far away! I can’t wait!! Keep up the FANTASTIC work!

Thank you so much for the kind words. I’m glad you enjoyed the books – AND got emotionally attached!

July does seem so far away – but it’ll be here before we know it. Please be patient and come back for Book 3!

Be sure to like the Bits and Pieces Facebook Page (see the link on the right) so you’ll get notifications for updates and news.

  2. I got Falling to read with my teen daughter on our Kindles when it was a freebie. I’m sure glad I did that. Ordered Winter Solstice as soon as we finished Falling. Couldn’t put either down. We cannot wait for July. You are an amazing storyteller, and I really care about the people you have created. So you have a fan base of at least from teen girls to middle age men. LOL

I’m glad that you and your daughter are enjoying the series! Thanks so much for reading and caring about Liz, Patrick and the crew. Liz needs all the friends she can get! =)

I love your books!!! It feels like you are writting about my life as I was growing up. Except for the mom part. Never felt like I fit in. I’m glad Liz found friends. They all come to life so well in your story telling. Great job. Can’t wait for July..

    Thanks so much, Glenda!

Please post a review on Amazon (even a short one) when you get a chance. I’d really appreciate it. Also, like the Facebook page to be aware of updates.

July will be here before we know it!

Wow! What a wonderful series! I’m totally enthralled and eager for July. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with Liz or Patrick or the crew. I just finished Solstice and little did I know that I’d have to wait for #3! I miss my friends all ready. It’ll be well worth it, I’m sure. Thank you for sharing your gift with all of us. You are brilliant.

P.S. In case it wasn’t clear…I did fall in love with Liz AND Patrick AND the crew! 🙂 You captured their personalities beautifully. Thanks again!
